Half-day AI hackathon
A compact introduction to solving problems with AI. A good warm-up, or a first step for teams that are new to AI hackathons.
- Fast idea generation
- 1 focused problem
- Introduction to AI tools
- No technical background needed
Hackyour challengeswith AI
Bring a real business problem. Leave with an AI prototype that actually works, in 1 to 3 days. We facilitate in English or Danish, so international and mixed-language teams can take part on equal terms.
Companies we have worked with
More than 120 hackathons behind us. We know what tends to go wrong, and how to avoid it.
87% of teams have something running before the event ends. Not slides. Software.
3 out of 5 prototypes from our hackathons are in use within 90 days.
Participants go from having heard of ChatGPT to using AI in their everyday work.
Classic innovation projects take quarters. We compress the work into 1 to 3 days and deliver something that actually works.
Teams leave the hackathon with demo-ready software they built themselves. 87% have a working prototype within 48 hours.
Time pressure and a little competition create a kind of working energy you rarely see on a normal day at the office.
People learn AI tools best by using them on a real problem. Participants take ChatGPT, Claude and automation tools back into their daily work.
We work on the challenge that actually keeps you up at night, not a generic scenario recycled from another company.
3 out of 5 prototypes are in use within 90 days. We deliver an implementation roadmap and ROI tracking, so the work does not stop when the event ends.
An AI hackathon is more than an event. It is a structured process where generative AI plays an active part from the first phase to the last.
Before the hackathon we use AI to analyse stakeholder interviews, map business challenges and gather comparable examples, so participants arrive with a sharply defined problem.
AI tools used
“Before an AI hackathon, generative AI is used to analyse stakeholder input and identify the business challenges with the greatest potential for an AI solution.”
Example
A typical outcome is a short list of concrete AI opportunities, ranked by value and feasibility, agreed with management before the day.
Every format is designed for cross-functional teams. No technical background needed, and every format can run in English or Danish.
A compact introduction to solving problems with AI. A good warm-up, or a first step for teams that are new to AI hackathons.
From defining the problem to a working prototype in one working day. Our most popular format for companies that want to test what AI can do for them, fast.
The complete AI hackathon format. In-depth prototyping, an external jury and an implementation plan you can take straight back to the business.
Our most intensive format, for organisations that want to speed up AI adoption across the whole business.
E-commerce and retail
During a one-day hackathon the team built an automated pipeline in n8n that accepts supplier data in any format, normalises it into one shared master data set and enriches every product line with AI: search-optimised brand copy, automatic image improvements and translations into four languages. At the end, the pipeline generates exports tailored to each customer. One distribution partner receives a CSV with 12 fields, another an XML file with 47 fields, a third a JSON export straight into its product database. 50,000 products now run through the pipeline every day without a single manual click.
“We used to have three full-time employees maintaining product data. Now it runs automatically, and the quality is higher than ever, because people make mistakes and a well-built workflow does not.”
Telemarketing and B2B sales
During a one-day hackathon the team built an automated lead pipeline that gathers publicly available sources, enriches each lead with AI-generated insight on the industry, recent news and likely pain points, and combines it all into a personalised call brief that the rep receives 30 minutes before the call. The brief contains conversation openers based on real context, not guesswork. The reps now make three times as many qualified calls a day, not because they work faster, but because they spend their time talking instead of preparing.
“Our sales reps now go into calls better prepared than ever. They spend the time they used to spend on preparation talking to more people. It is the best productivity improvement I have seen.”
Consulting and professional services
During a two-day hackathon the team built an automated invoicing workflow that pulls data from all five sources: Outlook for emails with agreed terms, shared drives for contracts, virk.dk and proff.dk for business register data, Google Maps for the mileage between consultant and client, and the internal timesheet system. The workflow gathers everything per client and period, validates it against the agreed terms, and delivers an invoicing basis ready for bookkeeping in exactly the format the company's accounting system expects. Invoicing time is down 85 percent, no visits are forgotten, and the bookkeepers get a data set they can trust.
“We were probably not invoicing everything we should have. Now the process is so simple that our consultants actually do it, and the bookkeepers have never had it easier.”
