Half-day AI hackathon
Four hours. One clearly defined challenge. A team trying AI tools for the first time. You leave with a set of ideas, the strongest ones prioritised, and a real feel for what AI can do for you in practice.
The format is built for teams that want to experience an AI hackathon before deciding whether a longer format is right for them. Half a day, on-site, from DKK 15,000, and facilitated in English or Danish.
No technical background needed. Our facilitators guide you through the AI tools on the day.

The programme, hour by hour
Introduction to the format, the teams and the AI tools. Every participant is set up with ChatGPT and Claude.
The business challenge is presented and defined precisely. What are we actually trying to solve?
Intensive idea generation with AI as a sparring partner, using reverse brainstorming, SCAMPER and what-if techniques.
The ideas are sorted, and AI helps with ICE scoring. Each team picks its strongest ideas for the pitch.
Each team pitches. The facilitator sums up and recommends next steps, which may include a full hackathon.
What you take away
A broad set of structured ideas
With AI as a co-creator, teams explore more angles than in a classic brainstorm and capture them in a structured way.
A prioritised shortlist
ICE-scored ideas you can take straight on to a prototype or a full AI hackathon.
AI skills for everyday work
Every participant gets hands-on experience with ChatGPT and Claude and learns how to use them to solve problems.
Team energy and a shared direction
The short format creates real momentum. Teams leave with a shared understanding of the problem and a sense of ownership.
A good fit if...
- Companies that are new to AI and want to try the format
- Teams that need a quick boost of energy and a shared direction
- Organisations considering a full hackathon that want to test the potential first
- HR and learning and development teams that want an engaging way to introduce AI
- Departments with a specific challenge that needs fresh perspectives
Perhaps not right if...
- Teams that expect a finished prototype. For that we recommend the one-day or two-day format
- Large groups spread across several departments. See the AI innovation marathon
Tip: A half-day is often the first step. The energy and ideas from the afternoon make a natural starting point for a full one-day AI hackathon.
